Meet MEgan Moseley, PT

Somatic therapist and psilocybin facilitator in Portland, Oregon

Megan Moseley of Bodywise is a somatic therapist and psilocybin facilitator in Portland, Oregon

I help people come home to themselves—safely, gently, and in a way that lasts

For more than 36 years, I’ve worked at the intersection of the body, nervous system, trauma, relational healing, and embodied identity. I am a licensed physical therapist, somatic therapist, and embodiment coach with advanced training in somatic psychology, trauma-informed care, TRE® (Trauma Release Exercises), and relational healing. When appropriate, I integrate licensed psilocybin facilitation and integration, supporting expanded-state experiences through a grounded, trauma-informed, body-based, nervous system-rooted approach to healing and transformation.

I’ve synthesized these experiences into the BE ME Framework, an integrative roadmap for somatic healing that builds safety and support across the Body, Emotional, Mental, and Essence realms of being.

My work is grounded, relational, science‑informed, and deeply human. Clients often tell me they feel safe, seen, and at home in their bodies—sometimes for the first time.

What I do

I offer in-person somatic therapy and embodied nervous-system rewiring for people who feel stuck in patterns of pain, dysregulation, or disconnection.

My work supports:

  • nervous-system regulation and trauma recovery

  • relief from chronic tension, pain, and stress patterns

  • emotional and relational healing

  • embodied self-trust and authentic expression

Sessions are experiential, relational, and body-based, not talk-only. We slow down, listen to the body, and build capacity for real, sustainable change.

What makes my work different

Megan Moseley is a licensed physical therapist and somatic therapist

My approach bridges worlds that are rarely held together by one practitioner.

As a licensed physical therapist, I bring a deep understanding of structure, movement, pain, and tissue-level protection. As a somatic and trauma-informed practitioner, I work with how survival patterns live in the nervous system and the fascia. As a relational practitioner, I understand how imperative it is that healing happens in safe relationship, not isolation.

Because of my training and licensure, I can ethically and legally offer hands-on assessment and touch when appropriate. This safe, relational connection is imperative in trauma and nervous system healing, allowing the body to unwind, tremor, and reorganize toward homeostasis, restoring a felt sense of safety in the body.

I integrate science and soul: neuroscience, somatic psychology, movement science, presence, heart, and authenticity—all in service of grounded, embodied healing.

This allows me to support the whole human—body, nervous system, emotional history, and authentic being—in one cohesive, in-person experience.

She has all the tools to help one become stronger, at peace, and the best, most clear-headed version of themself. For me, the process with her has eclipsed anything that talk therapy and personal coaching could ever achieve.

Working with Megan, I felt my stress, tension, and pain melt away as it was replaced by a sense of inner calm and relaxation.
